I have a Bachelor of Communications with a major in Creative Writing, a Diploma in Language and a Postgraduate Certificate in Editing and Publishing. I have 4+ years of editing experience so far on my freelancing journey and have relished in every second.

OUTLINE ANALYSIS

Set your story up for success before you even write it. With my Outline Analysis service, you can expect me to meet you where you are. Perhaps you just have the mere bones of your story and need someone to tell you whether you’re on the right track, or you need someone to help you brainstorm further ideas . . .
Or, perhaps you have an extensively detailed outline and would like a fresh set of eyes to spot any pitfalls before you spend months trying to figure them out.
Whichever you are, this service will provide you with the clarity, direction and inspiration you need to get on writing.
Once you submit your inquiry, I will provide you with a questionnaire that will help me get to know your vision and your story’s key elements to appropriately provide my feedback and guide your manuscript in the right direction. When sending it back, you can also submit your core concerns, questions you’d like me to answer and point out any areas you’d like help fleshing out or brainstorming.
What you can expect . . .
When the order is complete, you will receive a 2+ page analysis (longer, should your outline be lengthy) where I highlight the strengths and detail the weaknesses with included suggestions on how to deepen your characters, plot and solidify your themes. The analysis will also address any queries you may have, and if requested, will also provide a brainstorm of ideas in areas of concern.
EDITORIAL ASSESSMENT

Perfect for when you have finished either your first or early draft and are wondering where to take it from here. My Editorial Assessment service offers a detailed report, highlighting the strengths and weaknesses of your story while providing big-picture feedback and offering suggestions on plot, characters and themes.
This type of assessment works deeper than any Alpha or Beta read. It is useful for those whose stories don’t yet have a stable foundation and who need a strong sense of direction when tackling their next draft.
Once you submit your inquiry, I will provide you with a questionnaire that will help me get to know your vision and your story’s key elements to appropriately provide my feedback and guide your manuscript in the right direction. Following the answers, I will review your manuscript and provide:

Constructive and honest feedback

The length of the report varies, depending on the needs of each particular manuscript; however, the average size of my reports are 4,000 words. This service does not include in-line comments.

My Genres: I am experienced with all fiction genres, and I specialise in speculative fiction, romance and contemporary fiction. Unfortunately, I do not accept projects in non-fiction or poetry. If you’re still unsure, please don’t hesitate to inquire!
Turnaround Time: The turnaround depends on the length of your project.
Outline Analysis takes from a few days to a week at most.
Editorial Assessment typically ranges from two to three weeks.
Manuscript Editing typically ranges from three to four weeks; however, the package will range over a few months.

Document Submission: Please submit your outline or manuscript as either a Microsoft Word file or a Pages document, formatted with a clear font and double spacing.
Payment:
For my Outline Analysis service, I will require the full payment upfront.
Whereas for my Editorial Assessment and Manuscript Editing services, a 50% deposit is due at the time of booking, with the remaining 50% due when you submit your manuscript for assessment or editing.
